Gael arrives in Cancun

Gael's gallery
On March 18th, at 1:00 am little Gael arrived in Cancun. His mother, Ana Paula, had been at the hospital since 6 pm, ready for his arrival. Finally, Cancun new citizen was added to the list of newborns. Gael weighed 3.4 kilos and was 52 centimeters long.
His name had been chosen months in advance, Gael Cerrillo, said his father, Ricardo Cerillo, Assistant Manager at Trafictours.
Gael went to his home the very day he arrived, surrounded by his surprised and loving family who, by the way, were expecting him a little later on, sometime mid-April.
Ricardo had to take a couple days off to buy the most urgently needed things for the recent arrival, including a bassinette, since his cradle wouldn't arrive until the beginning of April and Gael had jumped ahead of his scheduled date of arrival.
H is little, 4-year old sister is delighted with he new brother and had already carried him within a few hours of his birth.
When we went to meet him, Susana couldn't miss the chance to hold him and play with him, and neither could I. While Gael enjoyed a sound nap, his sister and I took turns carrying him. You can see he sleeps really deeply because he didn't wake up with all the noise of our chatting and cell phones ringing.
Oscar López, General Manager of Trafictours, said Gael looked better from far off; he was afraid to carry him "because he's too little", he said.
So, that's how we welcomed this pretty baby. We hope that in a couple of years he will become part of our world of tourism and contribute new ideas that will benefit the destination.

Rene and Sandra give birth

Alicia's gallery
Our famous Travel Plan top rep, Rene Hernandez, and always popular Sandra Marabella from Sunquest gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Little Alicia arrived on January 7, 2008 weighing a mere 2.95 kilos and measuring 52 centimeters tall. Alicia was born in Canada as per her parents' wishes.
Rene traveled from Cancun to Montreal two months prior to the birth of his fist born in order to help his beloved wife. The beautiful mother stayed in Canada with her daughter throughout winter to make sure her little princess would be in the best health.
Now, just three months old, they have brought Alicia to the Riviera Maya to start her new life here and her daddy can play with her before the busy summer season starts. Sandra and her little girl will go back to Canada for Alicia's baptism. After that, they will move permanently to the Riviera Maya to continue to work in tourism.
Little Alicia is a precious baby who looks a lot like her mother. She also has a strong personality and is very demanding. Rene told us that "if you're walking with her in your arms and you sit down she starts to cry because she wants you to rock her while walking." Just then, Alicia spit out her pacifier and she "asked" me to stand up with a scream. Once I was holding her and standing up, she even smiled at her daddy and mommy. The fact is that her parents, and everyone else, dote on her. During our visit, little Alicia was sleepy and very hot, because she was used to the cold of Canada.
The new mother looks as slim as ever had a big grin on her face. "The new facet of Sandra's life becomes her", said the happy father.
We wish them the best in this new stage of their lives and hope that Alicia grows up to one day, like her parents, be a pillar of our tourism life.
