NAME OF REP: Pernilla
AGENCY: Mexatlántica
On March 6th, Pernilla took a
few days off and went to Acapulco's famous beaches. She shared her
experiences with me so I could share them with the readers of Delphineando.
Pernilla went with two friends, Mira (former Tui
rep) and Helena (Manager at Apollo). They rented a very pretty apartment,
which include room service, with a lovely view of the beach and
pool. "The best thing was the food that Doña Rosa prepared for
us every day", commented Pernilla. Service included a variety
of Mexican dishes that she had never tasted, such as eggs with cactus
leaves, Mexican-style ceviche and an endless array of delicious
dishes that were served day after day right at their door.
One night they went out to party, first to the
Hard Rock and from there to the Palladium, a huge,
exclusive nightclub that is famous in Acapulco. Pernilla told me
the place was packed because of Spring Break. The rest of the evenings
during their vacation, they stayed at the apartment, enjoying the
ocean view with a beer or a drink in hand. "It was more
a trip to relax than to party, a weekend with the girls",
said Pernilla.
Something that really amazed her were the famous Acapulco
divers: kids from 10 or 12 years old and even over-50 men diving
fearlessly into the sea from the highest rock cliffs.
Of
course, shopping in the afternoon was a major part of their schedule;
the walk through Acapulco's Zocalo watching passersby and
the horse and carriages taking tourists for a spin. Pernilla especially
liked the colorfulness of Mexican towns.
And, of course, all good things must come to and
end; however, "it ain't over 'til it's over",
so once back on Isla Mujeres, Pernilla decided to go to Xpu-Há for
the last day of her vacations. This beach is one of her favorites
because it's a little private and there aren't a lot of people.
As you can see, after having taken full advantage
of her vacation time, Pernilla can peacefully rest up from her vacations.
