Hotelbeds is awarded in UK

We interviewed Natasha Dunderovic, Commercial Director of Hotelbeds in Mexico.
The Best Stand Awards have been a part of World Travel Market for over 10 years. They highlight and recognize the efforts exhibitors put into all aspects of their participation at the event including stand design and interaction with visitors.
This year, the Hotelbeds stand beat over 5,000 represented companies to be awarded the "Best stand for doing business 07", judged on the following criteria: a busy B2B atmosphere, the planning and layout of the stand, the effective navigation of internal layout and a good presentation of the stand and its services.
Natasha Dunderovic, the Commercial Manager HOTELBEDS Cancun was on site and shares with us her experience.
- Natasha, tell us about this award…
"Hotelbeds has always had a very strong presence, without a doubt, in most of the important travel events. Our Marketing team has worked hard to position the brand as a dynamic and forward thinking company. This year they just got recognized for it. The stand was absolutely gorgeous: modern, refined, effective and functional."
In addition to winning the award for the ‘best stand for doing business’, what was your impression of the show...
"I always look forward to WTM. The reasons are numerous: the great energy and dynamics of the show, seeing all my colleagues from around the world (this year we were 75 representatives from different countries!). There is also that sense of pride and satisfaction of working at our stand and belonging to this company and cooperating with its wonderful people. Plus, I love being busy and this show keeps you extremely busy throughout the day, from the moment the doors are opened to the daily finish at 6 pm. And then, of course there is wining and dining and the London night scene.
As far as business goes, WTM was once again, a resounding success for HOTELBEDS and the upcoming year looks promising."
- What is, in your opinion, the purpose of these trade shows?
"The shows are a perfect opportunity to capture new business, reinforce the existing relations and highlight our latest developments. With a company present in 80 countries and the objective of meeting our clients needs worldwide- there is always something new and exiting we have for our clients!"

-Which show will you be attending next?
"CHA in Bahamas, and FITUR in Madrid are upcoming shows in January. After that we have ITB in Berlin, Tianguis in Acapulco, and Pow Wow, which this year is being held in Las Vegas. Every show has its’ own flare and I look forward to each and every one of them."

En esta temporada es ya una tradición que no puede quedar atrás, el enviar a nuestros amigos y conocidos más cercanos, una tarjeta de buenos deseos navideños. En esta ocasión, nuestros amigos reps no se quedaron atrás, y nos enviaron algunas de ellas, las cuales queremos compartir con cada uno de ustedes.
Pero antes que todo, queremos de nueva cuenta reiterarles que tengan una muy muy muy feliz navidad y un muy próspero año nuevo, deseando que todas sus metas se cumplan el siguiente año.

Para cuando salga el 5o número de Delphineando ya todos habrán recibido su tarjeta de navidad. Hacerla no fue tarea fácil.
Empezamos a trabajar en ellas desde finales de octubre con una sesión de fotos. Antes de empezar, los delfines del Dreams, necesitaban más tiempo pues aún no estaban listos cuando llegamos, tuvimos que esperar y Adriana la jefa de los entrenadores nos invitó para enseñarnos cómo preparan la comida de los delfines.
Después de nuestro congelado tour por la cámara fría, todos de gorros, pasamos al área de las hieleras para sacar el pescado para nuestros modelos.

La idea de la foto la tenía bien metida en la cabeza, pero teníamos que lograr que los delfines nos ayudaran en el truco. Los entrenadores los hacían saltar. Y bueno, fue bien emocionante.
Después de 150 fotos, regresamos a nuestras labores en las mesas de hospitalidad y las agencias.
Después de varios días aún no salía bien la foto y tuvimos que hacer el show de nuevo, ahora probamos ya en el agua, y temprano con el agua friíta hicimos la segunda toma. Aquí logramos unas fotos increíbles.
Finalmente obtuvimos la foto ideal, pero días después tuvimos que volver a hacerlo ya que se nos fue un pequeño detalle, en la foto todos teníamos lentes obscuros y se veía muy rara. ¡Oooops! Finalmente tuvimos que hacer la toma de nuevo, en esta ocasión ya no nos pudo acompañar María, que estaba de vacaciones.
Esperamos que a todos les gusten y las veamos en sus oficinas; y como en algunos casos, como el año pasado, las veamos durante todo el año.
