After the holiday season, the girls from Apollo needed a break, and the area manager from this Swedish company organized a special overnight get-away on the island of Cozumel.

Better known as the island of swallows, Cozumel hosted the five girls for a night, unfortunately, they didn’t get lucky and the sun didn’t shine. On top of that, they'd had chosen Election Day for their special team day and as you might not know, during this day, there isn't any alcohol served, so their night on the island ended early and uneventful.

Next day the winds of the north started blowing, so they took a little ride around the island and got back to the main land to retreat to a relaxing day at a spa.

At the spa only Martina, Anna and Helena could make it since Silje had to make a little trip to the hospital for some tummy trouble, and Frida offered to go with her.

That is how their Adventure of Cozumel for Apollo ended and even with all the mishaps, the girls had a good time and the most important they relaxed and recharged their batteries to keep on giving their Swedish guests the service they expect.

Delphinus invitó a algunos de sus Top Reps al teatro. Todos vistieron de gala para presenciar la famosísima obra 11 y 12 con Chespirito.

Los invitados, en su mayoría representantes en la Riviera Maya, abordaron una Delphi-van por la tarde en Playa del Carmen y salieron rumbo al Teatro de Cancún. La Delphi-van ya estaba preparada con su respectiva hielera para que los invitados no sufrieran sed. Al llegar, Susy y María les dieron la bienvenida y sus boletos de entrada, y ahora sí: ¡A disfrutar!

Roberto Gómez Bolaños, el actor y escritor, presentó su comedia de enredos sin palabras altisonantes, muy al estilo Gómez Bolaños, en una función más de las 4 mil presentaciones que su aplaudida obra de teatro 11 y 12 tiene en su haber.

A sus 79 años de edad, Chespirito parece que ha nadado en los cenotes de la región, pues llega revitalizado para arrancar de los cancunenses carcajadas de a montón.

Dicen que el reír adelgaza y yo creo que nuestros acompañantes representantes y gerentes bajaron algunos gramos después de esta gran obra, donde predominaron las risas y el buen humor.

Aline, supervisora de Hotelbeds, y Armando, rep de Olympus Tours, celebran la futura llegada de su primer heredero, otro playense esperado para marzo de este 2008.

La fiesta se llevó acabo en la oficina de Hotelbeds en la Riviera Maya. Entre amigos de Hotelbeds y de Olympus, nos reímos y casi lloramos de la risa al verlos concursar.

Empezamos con el famoso "Dame tu leche mamita", que en este caso fue "papito". Chequen el estilo de algunos papás que no sabían ni cómo agarrar la mamila. En el de "los papás modernos" Rubi de Jet Tours no sabía si ponerse el bebé en la oreja y arrullar el celular en lo que colgaba la ropa, o al revés. No saben cómo nos reímos.

Después de la llegada de las hadas con pelucas rosas, "adivinamos los bebés", concurso en el que no hubo ganador pues muchos han cambiado bastante.

Para cerrar con broche de oro, abrimos los regalos y aquí Adriana se dio vuelo poniendo lunares a su jefa Aline si no adivinaba quién le trajo cada regalo. Entre pañales, mamelucos, pañaleras y mil cositas para el bebé, disfrutamos de este baby shower muy concurrido.

Estimados compañeros, esta vez nos dimos a la tarea de celebrar el Baby Shower de Ana Paula y Ricardo Cerrillo, subgerente de Trafictours, quienes pronto serán padres de su segundo heredero y primer niño.

El evento inició un poco tarde ya que como la mayoría de los invitados trabajan en el medio turístico, y como sabemos, las labores terminan siempre un poco más tarde de lo que se espera.

Dentro de los juegos realizados por nuestra súper gerente de ventas Era Cardoso, los más destacados fueron: "Dame tu leche mamita" en el cual nuestro compañero Sergio López ganó sin problema y lo disfrutó mucho ya que su mamita fue Justine de Vacances Transat y parecía experta. Otro juego fue "¿Adivina que comió el bebé?" donde las caras de nuestras participantes eran de lo más cómicas. En el concurso de "Dale de comer al bebé" nuestra amiga Ángeles disfrutó mucho su Gerber, y la mami Laura la dejó bañada de este rico manjar enfrascado, ¡mmmmmmmmm! Y así siguió la noche hasta que llegaron las hadas para darle suerte y desearle mucha salud al futuro bebé, mientras entregaban con pompa y platillo sus fabulosos dones.

Toda la noche fue de bromas y regalos; después cena y partir el pastel (algo que nunca olvidaremos). Los amigos de Ricardo insistieron en una mordida al pastel, y dadas las porras y los cánticos famosos de "mordida-mordida-mordida", nuestro festejado se levantó el fleco con una mano y trató audazmente de morder el pastel para acabar como buzo en la masa de harina y merengue. Para más detalles ver la galería de fotos, captamos al culpable. Y así poco a poco se fueron retirando los invitados hasta quedar los amigos más íntimos en petit comité.

El equipo de Delphinus Ventas desea a Ricardo y Ana Paula muchas felicidades y espera estar en primera fila para poder conocer al tan esperado bebé.

Our Top Rep, Catherine Ducharme, was surprised by the Delphinus team on her birthday.

Leonardo arrived to the hospitality desk looking for the owner of a White Palio that was hit by another car and the driver was waiting if anyone showed up. Catherine got a worried look on her face and claimed to be the owner of that car and asked Leonardo to go with her to argue with the other "stupid driver". The gambit was in place.

Little did she know, when she got there and saw the white car full of colorful Post-It's, with nice thoughts scribbled on them and some balloons! When she was very close the whole team screamed SURPRISE! She was then laughing, and needless to say, very surprised. She got a birthday card from the guys and a big hug from everyone of them.

Reportedly, she turned only 25 years old, though we won't make any official comments on her age.

It was a normal day, other than it was her 23rd birthday, and Isabelle went about her business as usual - giving briefings and organizing a party with her friends at night. After a rather warm day filled with work, she came out of the Riu Playacar to find all the staff of Delphinus waiting next to her car.

The car, bedecked with 100 Post-It notes, caught her off guard and she said she couldn't believe her eyes. Tourists passing by were taking pictures of the moment, obviously not a normal picture you'd find in a vacation photo album. Each Post-It shared a message, which left her with a big smile.

She drove away with her car full of post its, and out of Playacar she was stopped by the police. The officer got out of his car walk to Isabell’s window and said "happy b-day you can go now".

Estimados compañeros, esta vez nos fuimos a celebrar el sábado 2 de febrero el cumpleaños de nuestro amigo Saúl Sánchez, quien cumplió 27 primaveras y las celebró en el Carlos´n´Charles de la zona hotelera. Hubo snacks y también las clásicas bebidas del lugar, mejor conocidas como "Huracanes". Asimismo, asistieron personas de agencias de viajes como de hoteles en general.

Como entretenimiento hubo una banda de rock en vivo y se hicieron concursos para la gente que asistió. Si hacemos memoria ese mismo día hubo Ley Seca por lo cual nos tuvimos que retirar alrededor de las 11:00 de la noche, sin embargo nuestra amiga Claudia Vega nos invitó a su casa a escuchar música y seguir celebrando. Ahí platicamos, como es normal, de las ventas, de quién anda con quién, de si engordó o no, de todo un poco. También hubo clases de baile y así siguió la fiesta hasta que después de unas horas decidimos retirarnos ya que al día siguiente muchos trabajaban y otros debíamos ir a votar por el partido de nuestra preferencia, y como es responsabilidad de cada uno.

Así terminó una historia más de fiestas y de cumpleaños, y una vez más los pongo al tanto de lo que sucede dentro de nuestro ambiente reptil.

The new area manager in charge of the French tour operator, Nouvelle Frontiers, Rosie Ribard, arrived last month and after a month of getting her place ready she invited her friends and co-workers over for an open house.

Rosie shares her apartment with her boyfriend and since early that night they had placed the beer on ice, a table filled with snacks, wine and a very special drink for their guests.

Rosie welcomed everyone with her special drink she called "the champagne soup", and obviously none of us could say no to the fancy drink. Then Rosie ran to a blue bucket and served the liquid into a very colorful glass. There where strawberries floating on top and it tasted very refreshing, but then when I looked closely I saw some green leaves kind of hiding behind the strawberries, the first thing that hit my head was "Maybe Rosie didn’t cut the fruit well and included some green leaves of the strawberry." So I asked her what it was and she smiled and said, "it's mint leaves", I laughed.

Later that evening Leittitia from Kuoni France, better known as the "oui-oui", arrived and she got a glass of the Champagne Soup, and she was taking the mint leaves out of her glass until Rosie came and told her what it was and she smiled.

The staff of Mexatlantica arrived, of course the team of Nouvelle Frontiers was all there and many French that live in Playa and work in tourism also showed up. Rosie’s house is very colorful and the lamps gave it a special touch. It's quite roomy and has a balcony perched overlooking the pool. The invite said to bring a swimming suite, unfortunately it was a rainy day.

We welcome Rosie to this touristic destination and thank her for the invitation to her open house.
